My ebook "Writing Information Security Policies, the Application Vulnerability Management Policy" has been published and is available from Amazon's Kindle Stores.  I saw Symantec has a new threat report out that is full of interesting numbers.  No one doubts there are more attacks but attackers are opportunists, they need accessible vulnerabilities to exploit and if there are no easy vulnerabilities they move on to more promising new targets.  With sophisticated attacks focussing in on human vulnerabilities, the problem is challenging, the Symantec numbers show it's no time to be pulling back.
